With over 22 years experience in the graphic design field I have learned many valuable things about this industry. For example, a good idea can't be replaced by a computer. But neither can technology be replaced by a good idea. They both are required. Another belief of mine is that people like to shown new ideas. They like to expand their view of the world around them. This can be an important asset to the marketing profession. If a product, service or company is shown to be exciting, new and one which will open the doors to new thoughts and experiences, people want it. It is the delivery of these ideas that make this industry fun to be in. A potential customer's first experience with a product or idea usually starts with the image put forth by a creative firm. Yet, design confronts us on a conscious or subconscious level almost everywhere we look... the ease of reading information, the look of a product, the impact of an ad or the beauty of a well designed logo... all contribute to the success of a business.
